    Using the scarves is a great activity. My students love the texture and the way they move. The bright colors are perfect for my students with visual impairments. We also tried attaching the scarves to dowels and waving them. This adaption helped my students to grasp the scarf easier. The other fun activity was for our science unit in UNIQUE we shined flashlights thru them to explore the light.

    I have not had a lesson that I thought was unsuccessful yet. However there have been days where a classroom situation has affected the entire lesson. I realize that those issues can happen. I usually try the lesson again when the room environment is better. Peggy

    It is a issue when integrating to make sure everyone’s curriculum needs are met. Our integrated classes are PE and art so the activities are planned by those teachers. Sadly they have not had the EASE WEST training. It does seem the general education students enjoy being a buddy and helper. They are learning so much by doing that. Peggy
